OUT OF RESPECT FOR NATURE, PEOPLE AND WINE

That's how the idea of setting up this vineyard came about. And this is a kind of declaration of love in the face of nature that gives us everything we need. We just have to learn how to use what we get.
From the first moment, since we set in mind to create a biodynamic wine farm at Domaine Bogdan, I understand that whoever wants to do this as written in the book, must be good not only at wine, but also at nature. They must know how to listen to the voice of the earth, literally, to read in the stars and to feel the positive energy of wind or rain. The man who starts making biodynamic wine will also change his own life – he will wake up every morning to check the moisture in the soil, to see how the birds or the geese fly and how generous the universe is with his vineyard. yes, it probably sounds a little weird, but nature gives us a lot of signs without us understanding them? You know, for example, what it means when a lot of ladybugs are lying on the leaves of the vine? It means that it is really an organic vine, the grapes were obtained by agricultural processes that did not use, apart from mine copper blow, naturally, any synthetic substance. In a word, NIMIC. The ladybugs don't stay so relaxed than on perfectly clean leaves. Well, in our vineyard we invite you to see the most happy ladybugs in Romania.

Our grandparents and great-grandparents knew all these signs, and they were doing the kind of agriculture that we today are trying to re-edit. They had neither specialized studies nor substances to protect their crops from pests, nor solutions to guarantee them good production per hectare. They used an agricultural calendar that we respected. But still, they filled their barns with everything every fall. Nature simply told them when it's best to plant, or when it's perfect for harvesting. Today, all we have done is go back to our origins and rewrite, in the modern version, the most successful stories of this nation.

Our grapes are certified as organic/organic in 2016 by Austria Bio Guarantee, one of the most important food inspection and certification bodies in Europe.
