Pătrar

In one of Romania's blessed vineyards, in Murfatlar, somewhere between the Danube and the Black Sea, where the gentle winds meet, and the air is humid all year round, was born, from the talent of a great Italian specialist, the courage of a Romanian entrepreneur and the work of people with respect for what nature offers, the first biodynamic wine in Romania: PĂTRAR from THE BOGDAN DOMAIN!

Why THE SQUARE? Because the phases of the moon are extremely important in biodynamic agriculture. In other words: Pătrar was born from the art of choosing the right moments in winemaking with the help of the lunar calendar.

The frantic pace of human evolution in recent decades has moved us away from the union between man and nature, a perfect harmony in which agriculture was not just a way of exploiting the land for production, but a science in which astral rhythms were part of everyday life. PĂTRAR brings them back together! Listening to nature and working the garden exactly as it dictates to you, looking at the sky, the flight
Birds and phases of the moon is a way of farming, as unconventional as it is scientific.

Leonello Anello, PhD in Biodynamic Agriculture:
"If we see a forest, we wonder who watered it, who fertilized it? Nobody! It all did nature, without anyone's help. The same happens with the vine. We don't use chemicals, we just listen to nature. Our vineyards feed only on what the earth and the sky offer, with the rains that water them, and the frost and heat sculpt them. The vines do not lack anything and, you will see, neither does the wine! When you drink it, you will surely understand what biodynamic agriculture means."

Good PATRAR, friends (of the wine)!
